iOS doesn't let apps start on their own when a charger connects. The animation is started by a Shortcuts automation that you create once:

1. In the app, go to Home → Charging Animation and follow the setup guide.
2. Add the ready-made shortcut when asked.
3. In the Shortcuts app, open Automation → + → Charger → Is Connected.
4. Choose Run Immediately and pick the Vibe Charging shortcut.

If it still doesn't run, check that the automation is turned on and set to Run Immediately, not Run After Confirmation.

This is how iOS works. An automation can open an app, but on a locked iPhone iOS asks you to unlock first. For something that shows while locked, use the Lock Screen style in the setup guide. It shows charging status as a Live Activity.

• Open iPhone Settings → Charging Animation Vibe and turn on Live Activities.
• The Dynamic Island is only on iPhone 14 Pro and later. Other iPhones show the Live Activity on the Lock Screen.
• For StandBy, charge your iPhone on its side while it's locked.

Create a second automation: Charger → Is Disconnected → Run Immediately → the Vibe Unplugged shortcut. You can also swipe the Live Activity away.

Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for Charging Animation Vibe, and pick a size. Touch and hold the widget and tap Edit Widget to choose a different animation for it.

iOS wallpapers are still images. The motion you see in the preview is only inside the app. When you save, you get a still image sized for your screen.

Apps can't change your wallpaper. Open the Photos app, find the saved image, tap Share → Use as Wallpaper. Or add our free wallpaper shortcut in the app to set it in one tap.

Apple Music songs are protected and can't be used in videos. Use one of the built-in beats, which are free to post anywhere, or pick an audio file you own from the Files app.

Keep the app open while the video is being made. iOS pauses video rendering when you leave the app. Also make sure your iPhone has enough free storage for the video.

The app needs permission to add to your photo library. Open iPhone Settings → Charging Animation Vibe → Photos and choose Add Photos Only. The app can never read your library. It only sees the photos you pick.

Everything is stored on your iPhone. Delete projects in the app's Library, or delete the app to remove all of its data. We don't have any of your data on a server, so there's nothing for us to delete. See the Privacy Policy.
